ARBORETUM
After leaving the walled garden area you pass by the former Ice House before entering the 1960’s plantation of native and exotic trees. This is a short, pleasant woodland walk joining back on to the drive of Applecross House.Stout footwear is recommended along this path which is intended for upgrade in 2010/11.
This is a path upgrade project which will tie in to the end of the Beechwood path. Links to a range of other paths are available from this route, with many interesting features (walled garden, native and exotic trees and the former Ice House) evident along its length. This path will be all-abilities.
